Submit a computer request for your organization

The computers Shift2 provides may be used for administrative purposes (to upgrade/update existing office computers), for mission-focused projects, or to provide directly to program participants to keep in their home. Shift2 wants the nonprofit organization to utilize this technology as it could best support the mission.

Program Details:

Shift2 has a modest program fee for each computer we distribute to an organization. This covers our operational expenses incurred during the refurbishment process.

  • The program fee starts between $125 and $150 per device (laptop or desktop) which includes our costs for our hard drive wiping software, certificate of data destruction, Microsoft Windows license, and refurbishment time per computer. Each laptop is paired with a charger and desktops have all necessary cords along with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Items that can be added to the request include: $25 for Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and/or $15 for an additional laptop charger.

After the form is submitted, you will be sent a program fee invoice for the requested technology. Once the program fee is paid, your order will become active in our system and will begin to process and prepare the computers for this request.

Organization Technology Request:

Desktop computers are imaged with Microsoft Windows 11 operating system. Included with the desktop will be a monitor, new computer keyboard, new computer mouse, all power cords and connecting cables.
Laptop computers are imaged with Microsoft Windows 11 operating system. Included with the laptop will be a portable AC laptop charger.
We can install Microsoft Office software onto the requested computers for additional $25 per device. This includes the software cost and installation, which is activated for the life of the computer (no additional renewal fees) and allows program participants to use Word, Powerpoint, Excel even when there is no access to the internet.
Shift2 has a program fee for each computer starting between $125 and $150. Is your organization able to cover the expense of the requested computers?(Required)
Once the program fee invoice is paid, your organization is placed in the active order list. We attempt to fulfill requests between 5 and 15 business days (depending on available inventory).
