This camp will be offered to 8th to 12th grade RCSD students and will take place Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm as three unique 1-week sessions.

Session 1: July 14 – 18, 2025. For 15 students (held at GLG)
Session 2: July 28 – August 1, 2025. For 15 students (held at GLG)
Girls-in-Tech Session 3: August 11 – 15, 2025. For 10 students (held at Shift2 space)… welcoming young women to attend this session!

We will teach about:

• computer hardware (the physical parts)
• software (the cool programs)
• networking systems (how computers talk to each other),
• online safety (to stay secure in the digital world)
• coding (the basic way to make a computer work)
• AI tools (pros and cons of this technology and how to use it)

The highlight of the program is when each student will assemble their own computer, part by part, to take home at the end of camp (for their home use for the remainder of the life of the computer).
